This device integrates seamlessly with the pre-installed Apple "Find My" app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, allowing you to use Apple's extensive global network of devices for optimal and secure location tracking. This compact and user-friendly tracker is water-resistant and equipped with a replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts up to one year. It is the perfect combination of safety and convenience at your fingertips, ideal for iOS devices running version 18.0 or higher. How Does Location Tracking and Range Work? This tracker uses the Apple 'Find My' network to provide global location tracking: Global Location Tracking via Apple's 'Find My' Network (No Distance Limit): The Mini GPS Tracker continuously broadcasts a secure Bluetooth signal. Like previous Apple Find My trackers, this model requires no SIM card and therefore no monthly subscription fees. What happens if I am out of range of the tracker? If the tracker moves outside the Bluetooth range of your own Apple device, its location can still be detected. This happens because millions of other Apple devices worldwide (iPhones, iPads, Macs) that are part of the 'Find My' network can pick up the signal from your tracker. The detected location (anonymised and encrypted) is automatically sent to Apple's iCloud servers. You can then see the most recent location of your tracker on the map in your own "Find My" app. There is no distance limit on where you can find your tracker, as long as there is an Apple device near the tracker. The location is updated as soon as the tracker detects a nearby Apple device. Local Search (Nearby): When the tracker is within Bluetooth range of your Apple device (usually several dozen metres, depending on the environment), you can use the "Find My" app to make the tracker ring. The tracker will then play a sound, making it easier to quickly find items nearby. You can also ask Siri to find the tracker for you. "Left Behind" Reminder (Disconnection Alert): Receive immediate notifications on your Apple device when the Bluetooth connection to your Mini GPS Tracker is broken. This warns you if you accidentally leave a valuable item (or your pet) behind. Useful Additional Features: Lost Mode: If your item is lost, you can enable Lost Mode in the "Find My" app. You can leave your email address or phone number. If someone finds your tracker, they can use their own "Find My" app to view your contact details and return the item. Once the tag is linked to your Apple ID, no one else can pair it. Location Sharing (Multi-Person): Easily share your tracker's location with family and friends through the "Find My" app. Invite them and they can also see the location of your items, which is ideal for extra peace of mind for children or pets.
